UN Gruel
 

Lots of food news here and elsewhere on the net and even MSM.
In '75 Ilived I with a group of folks in Guatemala. These folks had a small church affiliated clinic.
A 7.5 earthquake rolled thru shutting down the entire region..we were 3 miles from the epicenter.
The director of the clinic was well connected and offered to deliver UN food aid if we could get some for ourselves.
The gruel was "interesting".. somewhat sweet with a weird after taste..vitamins?preservatives? it was 5 years old and you could only quess how and where it was stored.
With public food pantries running low I just wonder how long it will be before this stuff starts showing up here.
